OBLIGATION OF FURNITURE WARRANTY INC. /
SERVICE PROVIDER: Furniture Warranty Inc. agrees to provide the
service for coverage herein stated during five years from the date of delivery
of the item(s) described on this certificate. If within the five years after
delivery, an item becomes accidentally
stained or damaged during normal residential use you cannot remove the
stain or repair the item yourself
following the procedures recommend, Furniture
Warranty Inc., under the coverage terms listed below will remove the stain
or repair the damage at no cost to you. If the stain or damage cannot be
removed or repaired so as to return item to its preexisting condition, Furniture Warranty Inc., will, at its
sole option, replace the affected portion or the complete item. Replacement
items will be the same as or similar
to the original item purchased, provided the price of the replacement does nor
exceed the original purchase price.
Furniture Warranty Inc.
will provide all the
services and fictional parts that maybe necessary to maintain proper operation
of the product under normal operation and services, for the item(s) covered
under this program, for the duration of the service contract without additional
charges to the purchaser for the item(s) covered on this certificate. This
agreement does not supersede the manufactures warranty.
LENGTH OF
COVERAGE: Five years
from delivery date.
OBLIGATION
OF COSTOMER: Customer
failure to maintain items in accordance with the manufacturer’s guide lions
will void International Furniture Services obligations under the
agreement.
SERVICE PROCEDURES: Service may include any or all of the
following:
. Furniture
Warranty Inc. will provide free professional stain removal or repair advice
to aid in immediate cleaning or repair.
. If damage or stain persists, Furniture Warranty Inc. will have the item serviced by a professional
technician at no charge in customer’s home.
. If the technician determines cleaning or repairs must
be made off-site, the item will be removed at no cost to the customer.
. If the technician cannot remove the stain or repair
the item, Furniture Warranty Inc.
will replace the affected area. If the affected area/item cannot be replaced,
the customer can select a new replacement piece equal in value to the original
purchase price of the damaged item. Repair or replacement is limited to the
affected item only. Furniture Warranty
Inc. is not responsible for dye lot variations or manufacturer’s
discontinuation.
Upholstered
FABRIC Furniture Plan / COVERAGE: Household food and beverage product
stains, Human and pet bodily fluids,
Rips, tears, burns and punctures, Structural defects to frames such as warp age
and frame breakage, Separation of seams, Breakage and bending of metal
components such as recliners and sleepers mechanisms, swivel rocker base and
springs, Excessive loss of foam resiliency to cushions, Extends all
manufacturer’s warranties to a total of 5 years.
Upholstered
LEATHER Furniture Plan / COVERAGE: Household food and beverage product stains, Human and pet bodily fluids, Ballpoint
pen ink, Cracking and peeling of leather finish, Color transfer such as newsprint and blue jeans (type A & P
leather only), Perspiration and body
or hair oils (type A& P leather only),
Rips, tears, burns and punctures, Structural defects to frames such as warpage and frame breakage, Separation of seams, Breakage and
bending of metal components such as recliners and sleepers mechanisms, swivel
rocker base and springs, Excessive loss of foam resiliency to cushions, Extends
all manufacturer’s warranties to a total of 5 years.
WOOD
Furniture and Accessories Plan / COVERAGE: Stains/damage from water, liquid marks or rings from
normal household food and beverage products, Breakage, Accidental scratches
(which penetrate though lacquer surface), gouges, dents, chipping, lifting,
cracking, warping, fading from the sun, Peeling of finish on solid wood,
veneered or laminated furniture, including heat marks resulting from items
found normal household use, Failure of assembled joints of solid wood veneered
or laminated furniture, including inherent defect of framing material, warping
of wood members and defective workmanship in the assembly thereof, Loss of
silvering of mirrors, breakage, electrical shorts, switch failure on lamps,
Breakage or damage to lamps or picture frames, Extends all manufacturer’s
warranties to a total of 5 years.
GENERAL
TERMS / OBTAINING SERVICE: The customer(s) shown on the sales receipt for this agreement is/are the
only person(s) eligible for coverage’s under this agreement. Owner must report
incident to Furniture Warranty Inc.
within (7) days of the date the stain or damage occurs. NOTE: Use only those
cleaning products and procedures provided or recommended by Furniture Warranty Inc. Use of any
other cleaning products and/or procedures will void this warranty. The Customer
shall reasonably cooperate with Furniture
Warranty Inc. in its efforts to perform its obligations under this
warranty. Failure to comply with these requirements will void this warranty.
WARRANTY
EXLUSIONS:
This limited warranty does not apply to stains caused by items
other than those mentioned above. Nor does it apply to furniture located
outdoors, on patios or screened rooms where it may be directly exposed the
elements. Damage caused by failure to comply with the manufacturer’s
instructions. Willful abuse or misuse of the covered product.
Stains caused by body oil, perspiration, chewing gum, dyes, caustic solutions,
pain, or bleach. Normal soiling, wear and tear. Fading on upholstery, soiling or damage caused by pets (other than
bodily fluids). X coded fabrics and non-colorfast fabrics. Furniture
sold “as is.” Faux stone, fossil stone and marble.
Brass or chrome plated metals. Costs or damage from repairs/cleaning carried
out by anyone other than authorized of stains. Split grain leather in seating
areas. Loss of use of the covered product. Furniture in transit, or storage, furniture in commercial or rental
use. Damage caused by fraud, intentional acts, war, hostilities or
vandalism. Damage caused by acts of God. Anything not specifically mentioned as
covered.
This
agreement is not renewable, or transferable. This agreement does not supersede
the manufactures warranty. Any provision contained herein which is found to be
contrary to state or local law shall be deemed null and void: however, the
remaining provisions shall continue in fall force and effect.
